WFW's Cozy Blogging Outback

Been way too long since last time

Hey, been a while since the last blog post, huh? It's almost been a whole year since I last did one of these. I don't really know where to start with this, a lot has happened in the past 11 months personally. Been trying the best I can to get into a support group and participating there more, rejoined FurAffinity (since that's the only other viable place other than Newgrounds IMO), and well, I'm still drawing and all that fun stuff.

So.... firstly, I figured I'd get all of you up to speed on what's been going on with my website. Website's doing great, honestly the website almost feels complete apart from a few things. A few new shrines have been added, there's a chat room where people can talk to each other and such, and I currently have thoughts of redesigning the videos tab. Behind the scenes, I've also been thinking a bit here and there about switching to using Catbox in place of File Garden since they now have a 3 GB limit or like a.... what.... uhhhhhhhh....... 2 GB limit.

I told myself I wanted to make more videos at the start of this year, but I haven't had the same energy and courage as I once did say, 3 years ago or something. I don't know, I just don't really have any ideas nor do I really feel all that encouraged. (In all honesty you can blame the Newgrounds star ratings for that one, I kept seeing 2 and a half, 3 stars for every video. Had to zap that element away with uBlock so I don't get discouraged in the future.)

I still wanna make videos, it's just I feel like I'm holding myself to a high standard as if I'm supposed to make something as cinematic when I only have the skills of an amateur filmmaker, and it's a standard I can't reach.

Website aside, I got myself an Innioasis Y1 a while ago, back when the FIFA World Cup was going on for soccer, so arrival was kinda slow thanks to that but that aside I've been loving it! I made sure to get myself a screen protector and a little case for it, and while I do have a 256 GB MicroSD card, I haven't really found myself needing to learn to dissect this little nugget apart and swap the card inside for the larger one. I've been sitting comfortably with my 64 gigs! Plus I've been using Handbrake to compress the videos so that they're not a whopping 5 fucking gigs or whatever. I would go into detail about my personal thoughts on files and videos and all but I don't feel like it here.

I've also learned how to play both Klondike Solitare and Spider Solitare thanks to Brain Age, though me and Brain Age didn't really last long since I got burnt out and tired a week in from checking in constantly every day.

I'm gonna be honest with you, despite me having the energy to get out of bed every day and work on my website and stuff.... I still feel kind of down every now and then. But hey, the most I can do is just try and do the best I can, right? But yeah that's pretty much all I got for this, see ya in the next blog post.
